Meet The Lambs at Lillingstone Pick Your Own

April 4, 2023

AD – Gifted Tickets
I was provided gifted tickets to visit Lillingstone Pick your own, but under no obligation to post about it

At last it finally feels like spring is arriving, and days out no longer feel like you have to be continuously wrapped up! At the weekend we found ourselves visiting Lillingstone Pick Your Own again, this time to meet their lambs. We’ve previously visited before for their sunflowers during the summer, but they hold regular seasonal events such as strawberry picking, pumpkins, and Christmas trees!

We were kindly invited back to Lillingstone Pick Your Own to meet their lambs, and explore their Easter trail! One of my 3-year-old’s favourite activities is to visit farms, or anything to do with animals, so I was looking forward to showing her lambing for the first time.

We started off our visit with Ivy’s favourite, the animals! Included in your ticket price is animal food for you to feed the animals. There were sheep, pigs and goats – it’s best to just throw the feed at the pigs, but the goats and sheep were very happy to take the food from you! Every hour you could also have a chance to meet the lambs with Farmer Tom, but we didn’t get around to this on our visit.

Then we moved onto the Easter egg trail. It’s the first time we’ve tried to do an egg trail with Ivy, as she’s always felt a little too young the last few years, so I wasn’t sure how well she would understand what we were doing. Lillingstone Pick Your Own’s egg trail was actually really easy to follow, you had to find different coloured rabbits holding different vegetables to match them on a sheet, and find eggs with different letters. Ivy needed a little bit of help, but quickly got the idea of what we were doing and had great fun! When you’ve completed your trail you take back your sheet to the shop and can exchange it for a chocolate egg!

Throughout Lillingstone Pick Your own there are plenty of photo opportunities to explore! We loved all of the colourful Easter decorations everywhere!

There’s also a huge play area for kids to run around and explore! We didn’t use this much during this visit as by the time we got to this point Ivy wasn’t feeling too great, but on previous visits we’ve been in this section for ages, especially on the haybayles!

We had such a great time at Lillingstone Pick Your Own again to meet their lambs, it’s definitely worth a visit this year!
