AD – Gifted Tickets
I was provided gifted tickets to visit Lillingstone Pick your own, but under no obligation to post about it
A couple of weeks ago we went to visit Lillingstone Pick Your Own to see their sunflowers. They are a family-run farm located in the Buckinghamshire countryside, that opened in 2018 to run various ‘pick your own’ events including sunflowers, strawberries, pumpkins, and Christmas trees.
We live about 20 minutes away from Lillingstone Pick Your Own and were kindly invited along to their opening weekend for their sunflowers to see what they had on offer. I love sunflowers, they always make me happy, and I love visiting a sunflower field so was very excited to go along. Lillingstone Pick Your Own has lots of fun things to do, not just the sunflowers, so here are a few things that you can expect to do when visiting.
Sunflower Trails and Flower Garden

Of course the highlight of visiting Lillingstone Pick Your Own was the large sunflower trail, there were loads! You could pay per sunflower, or for a bunch. There is also a large beautiful flower garden where you can pick your own, or take home freshly cut flowers from the shop.
Animals

You can find some lovely farm animals at Lillingstone Pick Your Own, including a very mischievous pig who escaped during our visit! Ivy loved the goats the most, but we loved seeing all the animals.
Play Patch

There are lots of things for kids to play with at Lillingstone Pick Your Own, including a huge sandpit which we could have easily spent hours in! There were ride on tractors, hay bales, and garden games – all of which came highly rated by Ivy!
Photo Opportunities

There are plenty of photo opportunities around Lillingstone Pick Your Own, my 2-year-old loved the butterfly wings, and there was a large frame and a giant chair, and a large tractor.
And more!
For summer you can also find (or get lost in) the Jubilee-themed Maize Maze, nature trails, and lots of activities for children in their activity packs to follow – with prizes at the end!
We could have easily spent all day here, there’s so much to do! We only managed a small part of what was on offer and we were there for a few hours. Lillingstone Pick Your Own runs various pick-your-own events throughout the year – we will be coming back for more in the future!
