I may have mentioned a few times on here that my nearly 2-year-old Ivy, is quite the active wild child. And by that I mean, she’s rather wild, loves to climb and jump absolutely everywhere! I’m forever hunting for things that can help her to burn off energy, and let her run around. Someone on a local Facebook group had recommended The Arabian School of Gymnastics Stay & Play sessions for under 5’s – and I thought this sounded perfect for Ivy.
The Stay & Play sessions run a couple of days a week and are 55 minutes – to 2 hours long depending on the session you select. Each session has out the equipment that’s used at the club, as well as a big bouncy castle, and various toys perfect for toddlers.
I wasn’t surprised at all that the first thing that Ivy was drawn to when we entered, was the giant bouncy castle! I mentioned in my review of Gravity Parent & Toddler Sessions that Ivy’s favourite thing to do is jump around, but this bouncy castle was even better, as it had a slide attached.

There’s also plenty of gymnastics equipment out at the Arabian School of Gymnastics stay and play sessions. Ivy was having a great time running up and down the soft mats, and playing with the hanging rings – which she was surprisingly good at, I may need to enrol her in a gymnastics class soon!

There were also various bits of equipment that Ivy didn’t show much interest in, like the balance beams, but she is under 2, and doesn’t have the ability for some of it. She did however find every single trampoline that she could!

There were also lots of toys around for children to play with, which Ivy loved. Lots of cars, things to sit on, slides, as well as toys like cars and smaller handheld toys for younger children. There were a few children that were younger than Ivy, and were making great use of an area with mats down and smaller toys.
Ivy and I had a great time visiting here, and for only £5.50 for 55 minutes, we got a lot out of our visit! The only slight downside is that the sessions only run during the week – I work full time so usually look to take Ivy out at weekends, but I had a day off in the week so we made the most of visiting. While this may not be a problem if you’re available in the week, it would be nice to have some weekend sessions for working parents! Still, this wouldn’t stop me from bringing Ivy to another session during the week when I have time off.
