Where To Find Sunflowers Near Milton Keynes & Northampton 2023

Sunflowers are just lovely this time of year aren’t they? They are my absolute favourite flower, they just look so happy. Every year we try to visit sunflowers near Milton Keynes and Northampton for a lovely summer day out wondering around sunflower fields, and taking some home with us. Pick your own sunflower fields have become popular over the last few years, and with still time to visit before the end of the sunflower season, I’ve put together a handy guide on where you can find sunflowers near Milton Keynes and Northampton this summer!

If you’re looking to pick sunflowers, take photos, or just enjoy a day out surrounded by fields of gold, then this post is for you!

Sunflowers Near Milton Keynes & Northampton

The Patch MK

The Patch MK is one of the most well known sunflower fields near Milton Keynes, we try to visit most years! There is so much to do here, with mazes, slides, mini golf, climbing walls – you can easily spend all day here!

Where: Mount Mill Farm, Milton Keynes MK19 6DG
Opening Times: Open Monday – Friday 10am – 4pm and weekends 9.30am – 5pm
Open Until: The Patch MK is open until close of play on the 28th August

Lillingstone Pick Your Own

Somewhere else for sunflowers near Milton Keynes is Lillingstone Pick Your Own, with sunflowers, wildflowers and a maize maze! There’s also lots to do here, with farm animals and a large play area.

Where: Stockholt Farm, Lillingstone Dayrell, Buckingham, MK18 5AF
Opening Times: 10am – 3.30pm
Open Until: Lillingstone Pick Your Own is open until close of play on the 28th August

Overstone Grange Farm

For sunflowers near Northampton, Overstone Grange Farm has a lovely sunflower field alongside a maize maze, and play patch for the kids to enjoy!

Where: Overstone Grange Farm, Kettering Rd, Northampton NN3 7XA
Opening Times: 10am – 3.30pm
Open Until: Overstone Grange Farm is open until close of play on the 28th August

Kislingbury Sunnies and Spooks

Kislingbury Sunnies and Spooks is also in Northampton with pick your own sunflowers and flowers, and a play area with toy tractors, a bale mountain and slide, and vintage tractors to take a look at!

Where: Bugbrooke Rd, Kislingbury, Northampton, NN7 4EQ
Opening Times: 10am – 4.30pm
Open Until: Not sure when they are open until, check their social media for open days!

Saxby Cider PYO

Saxby Ciders PYO sunflower field is a smaller field, but there’s also the option to visit the shop and enjoy some of Saxby’s lovely ciders while you’re there, or pick up an apple juice to wander around the sunflower fields with!

Opening Times: 12pm – 4pm
Open Until: Saxby Cider PYO is open until close of play on the 28th August

Sunflowers Further Afield

Hitchin Lavender

For sunflowers further afield, Hitchin Lavender has a sunflower field alongside their vast lavender fields. There isn’t much else on offer here if you’re looking for a full day out, but there is a shop on site.

Where: Cadwell Farm, Ickleford, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, SG5 3UA
Opening Times: 9am – 9pm
Open Until: Hitchin Lavender is open until close of play 28th August

Peterley Manor Farm

Peterley Manor Farm is another sunflower field futher afield, it likewise doesn’t look like there’s much else here, but a great place if you’re looking to come and pick your own sunflowers!

Where: Peterley Manor Farm, Peterley Lane, Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire, HP16 0HH
Opening Times: 9am – 4pm
Open Until: Peterley Manor Farm is open until close of play 26th August
