It’s not Christmas without Christmas lights right?! If you’re looking for amazing Christmas lights this year, you have to visit Kennington Close Christmas Lights in Newport Pagnell.
On Kennington Close, each house has covered its house with Christmas lights and decorations, to help raise money for Willen Hospice. We’ve not visited for a few years, so took the kids along as one of our Christmas activities this year.

The Christmas lights at Kennington Close are on every year (minus being up in 2020, for obvious reasons), and run from the beginning of December until New Year’s Eve, from dusk until late at night. For the first night there is a light switch on event, but bear in mind this can be very busy!

We’ve visited over two different years, and both times we’ve been amazed by the Kennington Close Christmas Lights. This year my two-year-old really loved running around and looking at everything, and as you can’t park on the road it’s nice to have a safe environment for her to do so. We visited at a weekend and they got a snow machine out for the children – which was great fun!
I absolutely recommend a visit to the Kennington Close Christmas Lights, and please bring some change to donate to Willen Hospice. The residents of this street put this on every year, and run it out of their own pockets.
